Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 5, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to McCaffree Law (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, communications (including text messages), and legal services. By using our website or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Firm Overview & Licensing

  • Licensed Jurisdiction: McCaffree Law is licensed in Florida. Our primary practice areas include immigration law; however, we serve clients nationwide when permissible under applicable state and federal rules.
  • No Guarantee of Service Outside Florida: We adhere to the rules of professional conduct in each jurisdiction where we provide services. Representation outside Florida may require local counsel or compliance with pro hac vice admissions.
  • An attorney-client relationship is established only upon signing a written retainer agreement with McCaffree Law.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

  • Informational Purposes Only: Content on our website, including blog posts or general updates, is intended for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
  • Formation of Relationship: An attorney-client relationship with McCaffree Law is established only upon the execution of a written retainer or engagement agreement. Visiting our website, contacting us, or receiving our text messages does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship.

4. Scope of Services

  • We focus primarily on immigration law and related legal services. Any reference to other practice areas is solely informational.
  • Limitations: We do not guarantee results for any case. Past performance does not indicate future outcomes.

5. Types of SMS Messages You May Receive

We use text messages (“SMS”) to communicate efficiently with clients, prospective clients, and—in limited cases—job applicants or website visitors who opt in. By providing your phone number and expressly opting in, you agree to receive the following types of text messages:

  1. Clients & Prospects
    • Case Updates: Important deadlines, filings, or upcoming hearing dates.
    • Appointment Reminders: Confirmation of upcoming meetings or consultations.
    • Service Information & Promotions: Occasional announcements about our services, changes in the law, or related offers.
  2. Job Applicants
    • Application Status: Updates on your application, requests for additional documents, or scheduling interviews.
    • Onboarding & Employment-Related: Orientation materials and reminders if you move forward in the hiring process.

6. Standard Messaging Disclosures

  1. Messaging Frequency May Vary: The number of messages you receive depends on your level of engagement or current stage of representation or application.
  2. Message & Data Rates May Apply: Charges may apply per your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates.
  3. Opt-Out at Any Time: Text “STOP” to discontinue receiving our text messages. You can also call us or email us to request removal from the SMS list.
  4. Help: Text “HELP” for assistance or visit our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more details.

By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from MCCAFFREE LAW. This includes SMS messages for appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, post-visit instructions, lab notifications, and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See privacy policy at https://www.mccaffreelaw.com/privacy. Message HELP for help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
